This paper analyzed the nutrient content of Andrias davidianus, including protein, fat, calcium and phosphorus; compared the nutrient content of 17 amino acids in protein and the main trace elements in muscle of Andrias davidianus with other high-quality aquatic products (fish, shellfish, shrimp, turtle class, frogs, and snakes); and concluded that Andrias davidianus is a new kind of aquaculture with high nutritional value and significant economic benefits.

An endangered species now, green turtles laid their eggs on the beach in Taiwan in the past. Recently, only a few reserves are left. Wangan Green Turtle Tourism and Conservation Center is one of them where more green turtles regularly come to lay eggs.
