It accounts for more than 64% of species recorded in China. The study was the most comlplete , systematic work about birds in Yunnan and recorded the most species of birds in Yunnan at present. The recources status and geographical distribution of birds in Yunnan were deeply studied, and the characters and evolution tendency of avifauna in Yunan, geographical division of birds in Yunnan were discussed.

本项目通过系统的分类和区系研究工作，共描记云南鸟类848种(1074种和亚种)，占中国记录鸟类种数的64％以上，是目前记录云南鸟类物种最多、最全面和最系统的工作；并在深入研究云南鸟类资源状况和地理分布的基础上，探讨了云南鸟类的区系特征及其演化趋势、三级地理区划。

The coastal wetlands in the Yellow Sea region are important stopover sites for shorebirds along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway. Study on the stopover ecology and migration strategies of shorebirds will be helpful for understanding the mystery of bird migration, and for making conservation strategies on the migrants.

黄海区域为东亚-澳大利亚迁徙路线上鸻鹬类重要的迁徙停歇地，了解鸟类在该区域的生态及生物学特征，阐明鸟类对迁徙停歇地的利用模式和迁徙对策，了解迁徙鸟类对迁徙活动的适应机制，对于进一步认识鸟类的迁徙活动，并制定科学的保护措施具有帮助。

They share many similar or the same featutes with Archaeopteryx or other primitive birds, such as: U-shaped furcula, uncinate process, laterally facing glenoid of shoulder girdle, comparatively long forelimb, large semilunate carple, retroverted pubis, ascending process of astragalus, and "modern feathers"with rachis and barbs etc.

奔龙类是一类较为特殊的手盗龙类，它具有许多与始祖鸟Archaeopteryx甚至其它早期鸟类相似或接近的特征，主要表现在：叉骨U形与始祖鸟和孔子鸟类的相同，背肋钩状突在孔子鸟类和个别反鸟类中也存在，肩臼窝绝大部分指向侧方类似于始祖鸟，肩胛骨与乌喙骨间的夹角非常接近90°也和始祖鸟的相似，前肢从比例上讲显得较长，大的半月形腕骨使肘部能向侧方折过来，耻骨伸向后下方，距骨上升突与原始鸟类中的为同源结构，羽毛已有显著的分化且具备了现代羽毛的基本结构等等。

Through field observations and sampling, by referencing to other documents and information, with correlation analysis and principal component analysis as mathematical tools, we know that: the distribution of the number of birds has close relations with density of zoobenthos and ratio of water area, the correlation coefficient of the distribution and the two factors are 0.916 and 0.745, the density of zoobenthos is the most direct reflection; Vegetation types , the coverage and water level may have relations with the distribution of the kind of birds, normally, middle and large volume birds need high vegetation and high coverage as their habitats, and waterfowl like deep water as their habitats; Human activities have low impact on the the distribution of the number of birds, but the activities have relations with all the other environmental factors.
