Changes in Xc for different pulp cellulose fibers are not the same during the ultrasonic treatment. Crystallization and decrystallization may both exist during the treatment at the conditions of lower-intensity ultrasonic wave. After treatment with ultrasonic Xc of MBKP cellulose is decreased and that of EBKP is increased. The changes of Xc of different pulp cellulose are more closely correlated to the fibers' morphology size and the cavitation state. The maximum Xc of 84% is obtained when BEKP cellulose is treated under the conditions of ultrasonic frequency f=23-25kHz, power=400w, and treatment time t=720s.

The 111076 nematode individuls were classified into 43 genera and 4 trophic groups. Among them, 32 genera of nematodes belong to beneficial un-plant parasitic (bacterivorous, fungivorous, omnivorous/predatory) nematodes and 11 genera of nematodes belong to baneful phytophagous nematodes which accounted for 1/4 of nematode collectivity, especially the nematodes in the genus of Tylenchus and Filenchus, involved 51 (91%) and 42 (75%) species of flowers, repectively.

A modified Galanthus nivalis agglutinin gene was introduced into the genome of main cultivar 'Ningqi No.1' of Lycium bararum in vitro with explants of leaf disks mediated by Agrobacterium tumefaciens. Several factors affecting transformation efficiencies were studied based on induction rate of resistant callus. An effective system for genetic transformation of Lycium bararum was set up, and 70 kanamycinresistant transformants were obtained.

In the chapter 7, a new type of highly reliable and multifunctional hydroturbine microcomputer-based governing system is studied and developed; the structure design principle of microcomputer-based system is described and discussed; based on the adaptive control strategy with optimized PID parameter, a combined control strategy of frequency and phase with variable weighting factor is presented; in the design of hardware and software, the fault diagnosis, fault tolerance and fault avoidance techniques are adopted, and the suitability and reliability are greatly improved.

According to distribution of bryophytes on different substances, the frequencies of Bazzania albifolia, Heteroscyphus coalitus and Homaliodendron scalpellifolium in evergreen broadleaved forests of Daweishan Nature Reserve are highest; those of Macrothamnium macrocarpum, Bazzania fauriana, Ptychanthus striatus, Pogonatum cirratum and Thuidium cymbifolium are higher. Additionally, Aerobryum speciosum, Trachycladiella sparsa, Taxiphyllum subarcuatum, Aerobryidium levieri, Lepidozia wallichiana, and Leucobryum bowringii are relatively common.
