Objective:To investigate the relationship of the expression of phosphorylation p38 mitogen activated protein kinase（p-p38MAPK） and the inflammatory damage of dorsal root ganglion and neuropathological pain caused by non-compressed nucleus pulposus in rats.

Methods:IL-6 expression in 8 samples of normal and 10 of inflammatory pulpal tissue was examined using immunohistochemical techniques.
