In 1876, Russian explorers first discovered, caught and killed the wild two-humped camels in Liushiyanquan at the southern foot of Kumutage Mountains in the north of the Luobupo area in China. The camel specimens made by Russian explorers created a sensation throughout the international community. From this time on, the wild camels were well known throughout the world.
