This experiment was carried out to study the effect of fiber on growth performance, metabolic rate, digestive tract, meat quality and the change of microbes of intestine in geese of different breeds. The mechanism of utilizing crude fiber for geese was discussed. In this paper, the JL AU I, JLAUIII and JLAU cross geese twenty respective were selected as experimental animals, while Corn stalk and purple medic powder admixture were considered as fiber resource. The test was divided into two periods.
