贞观政要》带给我们的爱国主义热情、民族责任感、居安思危的忧患意识、富国强民的方法措施、领导艺术和管理水平的丰富和提高以及社会风气的净化，对于我们当代来说依旧很重要，它的价值并没有随着时光的流逝而衰减，它对于我们创造一个安定、繁荣、和谐的社会有着重要的影响和作用。
