The shape characteristics of typical particles such as fire smoke particle and carborundum are studied by using such method. The results of this project are useful to develop the new reliable, accurate and rapid experimental diagnoses technology.

本项目综合应用激光多普勒技术、信息技术和计算机图像识别处理技术，研究了非球形超细微粒的激光影像形成规律，建立了基于神经网络理论的粒子形状特性测量方法并发展了相应的硬件系统及其计算分析软件，并利用该系统研究了火灾烟雾颗粒、金刚砂等典型非球形超细微粒的形状特性，已初步形成了可靠、准确、快捷的新型实验诊断方法，为进一步发展实用的非接触诊断技术提供条件。
