An SEH is also an extremely rare complication of CSMT.23,25,26,32,33 We present the case of an adult woman, otherwise in good health, who developed a cervicothoracic epidural hematoma probably after undergoing CSMT for pain in her upper cervical and thoracic vertebrae.

Methods The clinical characteristics of 26 cases of cervicothoracic spine and spinal cord trauma were analyzed, which were performed with anterior subtotal vertebraectomy at C7, T1, C(subscript 6~7) or C7~T1 segment, bone graft and Orion anterior cervical locking plate fixation in cervicothoracic spine.
