顺磁性

Magnetic properties of a series of Cd1-xMnxSe quantum dots with different sizes and Mn concentrations were measured by using superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer. The field dependent magnetization of the Cd1-xMnxSe quantum dots at 2 K was obtained and it was identified not to be dominated by CdSe quantum dots but Mn ions.

我们利用超导量子干涉仪量测不同尺度(D = 5 nm， 8 nm)及不同Mn浓度(x = 0.375%， 0.75%， 1.5%)的Cd1-xMnxSe奈米颗粒磁性；我们推测在温度2 K下，所量测的磁化强度是由Mn原子贡献而非来自奈米颗粒，拟合其磁化强度对磁场曲线图而得出样品中Mn原子个数，同时假设Mn离子的磁性行为高达室温仍满足Brillouin function和Curie顺磁定律，所以可从高温的数据扣除Mn的顺磁贡献。

Meanwhile,for the first time,the contributions of the Pauli paramagentism,Landau diamagnetism,Larmor diamagnetism and Curie paramagnetism are distinguished by fitting the magnetization, and we obtained the proportion of Ir ions which do not participate the spin-dimerization.

同时，我们还研究了该体系不同磁性的来源和贡献，通过拟合，首次分开了Pauli顺磁，Landau抗磁，Larmor抗磁和居里顺磁的不同贡献，并且通过拟合得出了未参加自旋二聚的Ir~(4+)离子的比例。

We discovered that, for sample sizes of around 3~4 nm the anti-ferromagnetism disappears and paramagnetic behavior surfaces.

It is point out that the transient Kerr peaks are not related to ferromagnetism and may originate from paramagnetic magnetization of free electrons in the samples, while the magnetic field that magnetizes the free electrons comes from inverse Faraday effect of the circularly polarized pump laser.
