Santiago del Estero Province is a technological backwater of Argentina, with most of its residents living without running water or electricity. Last May, Tzu Chi volunteers set up solar panels at a rural elementary school there, so that the students would have evening lighting and could power a TV.

素有阿根廷的非洲之称，圣地牙哥省科技极度落后，大部份的居民都过著无水无电的生活，今年五月，慈济志工就帮助了当地一所偏远小学，装设太阳能板，让学生可以有灯和电视可看。

For years, Argentine Tzu Chi volunteers have been delivering their services to a small town in Santiago del Estero Province. They recently convened their 10th free clinic in a hospital. Through word of mouth, the number of patients has steadily increased each time. Meanwhile, volunteers also made a backbreaking trip to distribute stationery to a local elementary school.

阿根廷慈济志工深耕当地，几年来持续在圣地牙哥的一个小镇，服务居民，他们最近在圣荷西博克隆医院，进行第十次义诊，义诊当地人口耳相传，也让义诊人数持续增加；另外，志工也到当地一间小学，进行文具用品的发放。
