The results of Raman, SEM and EPMA tests show that the microstructure defects of the chalcogenide glasses play an important part in their second-order nonlinear optical properties. After the electrical/thermal polarized, GeSbS glasses show larger SNOP with the increase and growth of the microcrystal.
