By analyzing the forging process of double frustums sucker rod and using rigid visco-plastic material model and 3-D coupled FE simulation, the whole forging procedure are analyzed and simulated with finite element analysis software DEFORM. The results indicate the inner stress field, strain field, metal flowing law and forging travel-load curve during the forming procedure. The forming statuses, causation of defect of workpiece are predicted and so on.

通过对抽油杆镦锻工艺的分析，并采用刚粘塑性材料模型与有限元耦合的方法，运用有限元分析软件DEFORM-3D对双圆台抽油杆的成形过程进行了模拟，获得了成形过程中的内部应力、应变、金属流动规律及行程――载荷曲线，预测分析了工件成形状况、可能产生的主要缺陷的形式、部位和原因。
