锯齿状

Often shrubby evergreen oak of coastal zone of western North America having small thick usually spiny-toothed dark-green leaves.

Leaves odd-pinnate, usually with 3 or 5 leaflets; stipules caducous; leaflet blades oblong to elliptic, glabrous or sometimes slightly pubescent, margin serrate to serrulate.

奇数羽状复叶，通常具3或5小叶；托叶早落小叶叶片长圆形到椭圆形，无毛或有时稍短柔毛，边缘有锯齿到有细锯齿。

Leaves tufted; stipes stout, up to 1.2 m long, densely covered with golden brown hairs at base; lamina up to 2 m long and 1 m wide, tripinnatifid; pinnae alternate, sparsely spaced; pinnules linear-lanceolate, to 15 cm long and 1-2.5 cm wide, short-stipitate; ultimate lobes linear, more or less falcate, shallowly serrate, dark green and shining above, light green to glaucous below.

Basal petioles 10–20 cm; blade broad-triangular, 10–15 cm, ternate-2-pinnate; pinnae petiolulate; petiolules 3–6 cm; ultimate segments subovate, 3–11 × 2–6 cm, undivided or 2–3-lobed, both surfaces slightly roughened, sharply serrate or doubly serrate.

基部的叶柄10-20厘米；叶片宽三角形，10-15厘米，三出2回羽状；羽片具小叶柄；小叶柄3-6厘米；末回裂片近卵形， 3-11 * 2-6 厘米，不裂或2-3浅裂，两面稍变得粗糙，锐的有锯齿或重锯齿。

Petioles acute-triangular in cross section, 5–20 cm, sheaths triangular-ovate; leaf blade triangular-ovate, 20–45 × 17–40 cm, 2–3-ternate-pinnate; leaflets subsessile or short-petiolulate, long-ovate to elliptic, 2.5–12 × 1–6 cm, base obliquely cordate to cuneate, margin coarse-toothed or serrate, apex acuminate, glabrous or hispidulous along nerves.

叶柄鞘狭窄，干膜质；叶片三角状卵形轮廓，2-3回三出羽状中国种；裂片有锯齿到羽状半裂。

Petiole 8-20 cm, glabrous; leaf blade 5-7-foliolate; leaflets sessile, abaxially green, oblanceolate, 10-25 × 5-12 cm, abaxially glabrous or with sparse whitish hairs, ferruginous tomentose at base and in axils of lateral veins, base cuneate, margin crenate-serrate with teeth crenulate-serrulate, apex acuminate to subcaudate; lateral veins in 18-25 pairs.

叶柄8-20厘米，无毛；叶片5-7具小叶；小叶无柄，背面绿色，倒披针形， 10-25 * 5-12 厘米，背面无毛或者有稀少带白色毛的，被锈色绒毛在基部和在侧脉腋处，基部楔形，边圆齿状锯齿具细圆齿到细锯齿的牙齿，18-25对的侧脉。

Leaves opposite, usually in many pairs; stipules small; petioles short, connate at base, forming a short sheath; leaf blade elliptic, ovate-elliptic, or elliptic-lanceolate, margin serrate, with 1 gland at serrate tip.
