Highly ordered mesoporous Zr-Ce-SBA-15 silica with hexagonal-platelet morphology was synthesized through a hydrothermal route by using pluronic P123 as a template, tetraethyl orthosilicate as a silica source, zirconyl chloride and cerous nitrate as a precursor.
