The reasons of the unhomogeneity of mercury distribution in sulfide may be that mercury exist in sulfide in form of submicrometer size individual mineral such as cinnabar, and not in form of solid solution in pyrite, or that in coal, there are multi-stage and multi-origin sulfides among which the distribution and modes of mercury are different from each other.
