Mainly radiological signs of it may be as chondrocalcinosis in 20 cases, fibrocartilaginous calcifications in 10 cases, capsular and around soft tissues calcifications in 12 cases, pyrophosphate arthropathy in 8 cases.

Results Same as hyaline cartilage, the calcified cartilage was stained light flavo-green and weak double refraction by the Picrosirius-polarization method. In the immunohistochemistry analysis of collagen Ⅱ protein, the calcified cartilage was stained strong green fluorescence and the collagen protein parallelled in joint surface near the tidemark. The content of collagen Ⅱ protein was (20.16%±0.96%) of tissue dry weight by amino acid analysis, and that of the hydroxyapatite was (65.09%±2.31%) of the inorganic composition in calcified cartilage.

结果 天狼猩红染色见钙化软骨层与透明软骨层一样黄绿色淡染、弱双折光性；Ⅱ型胶原蛋白免疫组织化学分析，钙化软骨层呈强绿色荧光，潮线附近的胶原蛋白呈板层平行分布；氨基酸定量分析钙化软骨层Ⅱ型胶原蛋白含量占组织干质量的（20.16%〖KG-*4〗±0.96%）；X-射线衍射定量分析钙化软骨层中的羟基磷灰石含量占无机成分的（65.09%±2.31%）。

The calcification varies in appearance but can be stippled and amorphous, not unlike the chondroid calcifications seen with extracranial chondrosarcomas.

Methods Fifty healthy SD rats were fed for twentytwo months in order to build the model of aging rats, the histology of femoral bone, tibial bone and lumbal vertebra was used to observe, then we evaluated the indexes which reflect the degeneration of intervertebral disc including the quantity of collagen type Ⅱ,Ⅹ of intervertebral disc by the immunohistochemistry methods, the relative area of vascular bud, the thickness of calcified layer and uncalcified layer on cartilage endplate and the indexes which reflect the osteoporosis including the thickness ratio of cortical bone, the relative area of bone trabecula, the bone density, the max stress and straining of bone.

50只健康纯种SD大鼠，喂养22个月，建立老龄大鼠模型，进行股骨、胫骨、腰椎等组织学观察，并评价椎间盘退变的相关指标(椎间盘软骨Ⅱ型和Ⅹ型胶原表达、软骨终板血管芽相对面积、软骨终板钙化层/非钙化层厚度)与骨质疏松的相关指标(骨皮质厚度指数、骨小梁相对面积、骨密度、骨最大应力和应变)的相关性。

Results There was moderate or strong negative correlation among the indexes of the degeneration of intervertebral disc including the relative area of vascular bud, the ratio of the uncalcified and the calcified layer, the quantitation of collagen type Ⅱand the indexes of osteoporosis including the thickness ratio of cortical bone, the relative area of bone trabecula, the density of femoral bone and vertebral body bone, the max stress and straining of bone.

结果 骨质疏松相关指标骨皮质厚度指数、骨小梁相对面积、股骨密度、椎体骨密度与椎间盘退变指标终板血管芽相对面积、非钙化/钙化层比值、Ⅱ型胶原定量之间存在中度到强度的负相关，而与Ⅹ型胶原表达存在中度到强度的正相关，其中椎体骨密度与软骨终板的Ⅹ型胶原相关性最强。

Results Positive staining for VEGF was distributed mostly in osteoblasts, osteoclasts and newly-born osteocytes. Vascular endothelial cells and bone marrow cells also showed VEGF positive reaction. Hypertrophic chondrocytes in calcifying region of chondroephysis were VEGF positive, but VEGF was absent from chondrocytes in other zones of chondroephysis.

结果 VEGF阳性反应主要见于成骨细胞、破骨细胞及新生骨细胞中，血管内皮细胞及骨髓细胞也呈阳性反应；骺软骨钙化区肥大的软骨细胞为VEGF阳性反应，但其它区域的软骨细胞中无VEGF表达。

CT检查显示软组织肿胀0度2例，I度19例，11度16例，111度17例。6例软组织内出现脓肿样囊腔。1例显示软组织内气体。1例显示脂液平面。1例显示窦道。5例显示软组织肿块。8例示软组织内难以定性的钙质样高密度影。54例CT检查均未见软组织肿块边缘残留骨壳或壳样钙化和软组织肿块内肿瘤骨或瘤软骨钙化。
