In order to study the effects of cold-rolling deformation on damping characteristics of TiNi alloys and the relationship between the damping characteristics and the microstructure, the damping characteristics of martensite for Ti_(50)Ni_(50) alloy have been investigated systematically by DSC, TEM, DMA and sound internal friction test.
