The multi-component system R2O( K2O, Na2O)-RO - A12O3 - B2 03 - SiO2 which contains wide practical liquid-liquid immiscibihty region and fits for single fast firing cycle was adopted. The interdependence between composition and microstructure for fritted glazes in the above system was investigated.
