In this research, we are focusing on automatical data acquisition, data delivery, design and construction of database, data processing and data display and forecast based on GIS. Key technologies and difficulty are explored, which is built the manipulable technologies and management platform for regional monitoring and prediction of cotton bollworm.

棉铃虫在新疆棉区危害逐年加重，为保障我国最大商品棉基地的可持续发展，开展了优质棉基地植保信息工程研究，本文结合新疆植保体系发展和未来新技术的动向，重点集中在有害生物数据自动化采集、数据远距离传输、数据库设计和数据库建设、模型处理和GIS系统在预测和信息发布上的应用，探索植保信息工程建设中的难点和关键技术，为区域化棉铃虫监测和预警提供技术保障和管理平台。
