The mechanism of additional effect is very complicated. Experiment indicated that the additional effect of shallow water-accumulating gob had significant impact on transient electromagnetic signals. And the additional effect could not be simply incorporated into disturbance. The cause of additional effect was analyzed theorically. The examples confirmed that a the application of additional effect in detection of water-accumulating gob can produce ideal results.

附加效应产生的机理很复杂，试验表明，浅层的积水采空区的附加效应对瞬变电磁信号的影响很大，不能将这种现象简单的归结为干扰，本文从理论上分析了附加效应产生的原因，实例证明将附加效应应用到积水采空区的探测中能取得理想的效果。

Results show that composite geophysical methods increase the accuracy and precision of mined-out areas detection, and position, distribution and transfixion relationship of group mined-out areas are found out basically, which can offer security guarantee condition when opening working turns to underground working in the mine.

In order to locate mined-out areas in gold mines and place a curb on its hidden hazard, through laying out two high precision gravity survey sections of the 1∶100 scale in the research area, with Canadian Scintrex Corporation′s CG-5AutoGrav gravimeter, the gravity anomaly data are measured by the high precision gravity survey method for the first time, and the inversion is made by the Euler deconvolution method to determine the collapse of the mined-out region and the stable sector.

The ground deformation computing problem of goafs of highways is one of the difficult problems in highway construction, and until now there is no perfect computation methods to settle with.

The computation model had 5 parameters, which could be identified by displacement inverse algorithm. At the same time, the ground deformation limits of highways to determine the engineering treatment scope of goafs were provided. On such a basis, the problem could be solved. Finally, a case of Lei-Yi highway was given. The computed results showed that the present method could successfully solve the ground deformation problems of goafs.
