The results showed that compared with soil culture, the root cap was not obvious with less amyloplast and polysaccharose substance under water culture. The root epidermis under water culture was thinner than that of soil culture, with little root hair or not, in which cortex parenchyma tissue developed with big cell, solution proliferative aerenchyma in intercellular space, and thin cell wall. However, the root cap under soil culture was big, with strong PAS reaction and no aerenchyma tissue.

结果表明：水培后根冠不明显，淀粉体较少，多糖类物质较少而土培根根冠体积较大，淀粉体较多，多糖类物质多，土培根PAS反应强烈；水培根表皮厚度比土培根小，水培根根毛少或退化消失；水培根皮层薄壁组织发达，细胞大型，壁薄，细胞间隙中含有溶生性通气组织，土培根皮层未见通气组织。

Changes of lung ultrastructures: The results of electron microscope showed that in group 1, there were swelling mitochondria was arranged in disorder, less matrix, and hyalomere appeared, thin double-deck membrane in 50% samples: Interalveolar septum stroma was with edema in 60% samples; Polymorphonuclear leukocyte gathered in vessel or emigrated out of vessel in 50% samples; In group 2, double-deck membranes of mitochondria were integral, densely matrix showed micro-granule shape in 90% samples; Pinocytosis in epithelial cells of type Ⅰ lung strengthened, being destroyed, and pinocytosis in endothelial cells strengthened in 10% samples; lnteralveolar septum stroma was with edema, no polymorphonuclear leukocyte gathered in vessel or emigrated out of vessel or corpuscule was empty in type Ⅱ alveolar epithelium in 20% samples.

肺组织超微结构改变观察：纯氧机械通气组50%标本线粒体肿胀、排列紊乱，基质变浅，出现透明区，双层膜变薄，60%标本肺泡隔间质水肿，50%标本多形核白细胞血管内聚集或游出血管外现象；34%氧浓度机械通气组90%线粒体双层膜较完整，基质致密呈细颗粒状；10%标本可观察到Ⅰ型肺上皮细胞有吞饮增强、破坏及内皮细胞吞饮增强；20%标本肺泡隔间质水肿；未见到多形核白细胞血管内聚集或游出血管外现象及Ⅱ型肺泡上皮板层小体排空。

The comparison of contents of carbohydrate and hormone in cucumber roots,the root dry weight,soluble sugar content,glucose content,sucrose content,fructose content were higher,but starch contents werelower,and the contents of ZT,GA and IAA in xylem sap and roots were higher in G1 treatment,but ABA content was lower.However,the root dry weight significantly decreased in non-ventilation treatment(F1),and starch content,soluble sugar content,glucose content,fructose content were the trend of the dropping after the first rising, and sucrose content was lower,and the contents of ZT,GA and IAA in xylem sap and roots were lower,but ABA content was higher.
