Based on integral transformation, analytical solution for the wave transmission equations in 1-D inhomogeneous media is derived. By dividing the media into layers and considering the continuous conditions between the interfaces, the transfer matrix of amplitude of waves is obtained.

Methods The QRS complex was firstly detected by using continouse wavelet transform, then the feature sets were detected by different feature extraction technique. Using linear discriminants, 4 types of FCC beats based on MIT/BIH arrhythmia database were classified and the classification performance of the feature sets was evaluated.
