The main achievements could be summarized as follows.1. The basic stress-strain characteristics and related physical mechanisms for sands under cyclic rotation of principal stress axes were investigated based on three kinds of drained tests including fixed principal stress axes, cyclic rotation of principal stress axes with magnitudes of principal stresses kept constant, and cyclic changes of principal stresses in both their axes and magnitudes. 本文从试验研究、规律分析、数学建模和工程应用四个方面，对应力主轴循环旋转条件下砂土的变形特性进行了较为深入的研究，取得了如下主要研究成果：(1)基于对饱和砂土进行的主轴固定单调剪切、纯应力主轴循环旋转以及主应力幅值与应力主轴耦合循环变化的三类完全排水试验成果，分析和揭示了应力主轴循环旋转条件下砂土的基本变形规律，并探讨了其受力变形的内在机理。

When the geometric similitude ratio of the model to the prototype was determined and the loading similitude condition was satisfied by using similitude theory in structure modeling and experimental techniques, the prototype soil parameters were derived according to the model test result. The vibrating wheel compelled by harmonic exciting force was treated as a lumped mass vibrating system by equation equity method. By using this mechanical model in vibrating compaction, soil parameters were identified according to the equivalence of vibrating differential equation. The curve fitting method of amplitude versus frequency response was used for dynamic simulation based on the systematic dynamic equation of vibrating roller-soil system.

Based on the former drag reduction experiments of the bionic nonsmooth body of revolution models in the lowspeed wind tunnel, the simulation wind tunnel tests at the wind speed of 44 m/s were performed for the body of revolution models with the tail rectangularly disposed by three different nonsmooth structures, such as the convex dome form with the diameter/height of 1.0/0.5 mm, the dimple concave form with the diameter/depth of 1.0/0.5 mm, and the riblet form with the width/height of 1.0/0.5 mm, in contrast with the body of revolution model with smooth surface.
