Lian shin-tao is one of famous Taiwanese composers in recent decades. His works include many kinds of music styles. Because of rising ideas about local culture maintenance, many biographic studies and field researches' results were published.

主要工作包括：(1)从系统发展的角度出发，运用区域整体分析法对鄂尔多斯市1998～2003年的旅游环境变化特点进行了评价，并对经济、社会文化和生态环境三方面发展的协调程度进行了分析；(2)应用GIS 软件、DEM、TM 影像图和相关气象资料对其中心城区——东胜区近年来的生态环境状况进行了定量分析，探讨了生态环境对旅游开发的时、空影响特征；(3)利用HANNA 仪器进行实地检测并结合TM 影像图，对鄂尔多斯市重点旅游景区——泊江海子高原湿地生态自然保护区的植被、水体和土壤进行了定性、定量分析，探讨了近年来旅游开发对生态环境的影响特征。
