A new fast motion estimation algorithm based on moving direction prediction is presented, in which the high correlation of adjacently blocks'motion vectors and the center-biased characteristic of motion vectors in image sequences are used.

Methods: 12 fresh frozen adult leg-foot specimens were mounted in a coordinated system, a Steinmann pin was perforated across the calcaneus, cuboidcum, talus, and naviculare as markers. The displacements of the marked points in the coordinated system were recorded. Through matrix translation and Euler equation, the rotational angle of the calcaneus, cuboideum, talus, naviculare were calculated, which represented the motion of the calcaneocuboid, talonavicular and ankle joint in different condition respectively, while statistical analysis were also taken between different conditions.

A picking arm model is established using three-dimension entity software Pro/E and the kinematics analysis and forward and reverse solution calculation of the picking arm are made using D-H method. The kinematics simulation function of ADAMS is used for the simulation analysis of the kinematics features of the forestry nut picking arm and the feature curves of displacement, velocity and acceleration of the end effecter of a machine under a specific motion status are obtained, which provides reference evidence for the motion control and the optimal design of picking arms.
