In the process of contour tracing, contour lines are gained by tracing in anticlockwise order and a method of backdate search which ensures the correctness of the algorithm is used for contour tracing at those pixels where other contour pixels can not be continuously traced. By analysis of the neighbouring pixels, this paper avoids judging those pixels that no need to be compared again.

提出了一种逆时针追踪轮廓线的彩色图像区域分割算法，其思想是按逆时针顺序追踪轮廓线，在追踪过程中避免了像素点的重复判断，采用回溯搜索解决奇点问题，从而保证了追踪过程的连续性和正确性。
