第二部份则是探讨蛋白质亚硫酸转移酵素的活性检测方法，检测系统的主旨是用重组的PST催化受质4-methylumbelliferyl sulfate做为亚酸基提供者并转移至3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphate再生PAPS ，此核苷酸的亚酸基再由蛋白质亚硫酸转移酵素催化，反应后所产生的4-methylumbelliferone之萤光变化可用来定量蛋白质亚硫酸转移酵素的活性。

Hepatocellular carcinoma is a common disease in Taiwan. HCC frequently metastasizes to lungs (34-70%), lymph nodes (16-45%), bone (6%) and adrenal glands, but metastasis to the head and neck area is extremely rare. A Medline search of the English literature revealed that head and neck area metastasis from HCC may involved the pituitary gland, nasal septum, paranasal sinus, mandible, zygoma, gingiva, tongue base, palatine tonsils, orbit, thyroid and esophagus.

肝细胞癌是台湾常见的癌症，大部分的肝外转移发生在肺脏(34-70%)、局部淋巴结(16-45%)、骨骼(6%)及肾上腺，转移至头颈部较为罕见，回顾英文文献，曾有转移至脑下垂体、鼻中隔、鼻窦、下颌骨、颧骨、牙龈、舌根、扁桃腺、眼球、甲状腺及食道的病例报告，但不曾有转移至鼻咽部的病例。
