In the coming 2～3 years, there are four aspects for improvement in thin slab casting and rolling in China:(1) production of high quality products and further processed products by whole line of thin slab casting－rolling, cold rolling and coating;(2) reaching a higher productivity level with advantages of thin gauge hot rolled products;(3) leading the technology innovation in the field of mold modification, dynamic soft reduction, ferrite rolling and semi－endless rolling etc.

未来两年中，中国薄板坯连铸连轧技术创新的重点应有四个方面，即：全面贯通薄板坯连铸－热连轧－冷连轧－涂镀层产品作业线，生产高质量产品与深加工产品；在发挥薄规格热轧产品优势的基础上再创高效率生产新水平；努力在优化薄板坯连铸结晶器、动态轻压下、铁素体轧制、半无头轧制等工艺开发方面走在前列；工艺技术、装备、相关材料基本自主开发。

The experiment and the research indicate that:(1) Through the Hot-Continuous-Rolling production technics under small reduction ratio of 4.04 and 5.08, the rectangular continuous-casting billet of 235×265mm can be used to produce big size steel stick of Φ140mm and Φ 125mm whose macrostructure and mechanical properties meet the standards, this technics is viable;(2) This rolling technics can make the deformation penetrate to the center of the billet by low temperture and low velocity and big roller diameter and large reduction quantity at every pass and optimum design and arrangement of rollers, which is the key of Hot-Continuous-Rolling technics under small reduction ratio;(3) The sending technics used in Xining Special Steel Co.,Ltd can not use waste-heat of billet adequately, but the sensitive temperature section of A1N or sulphides or inclusions separating out is avoided, creating a favorablecondition for insuring good surface quality of final rolled steel;(4) The Hot-Continuous-Rolling technics under small reduction ratio has a close relationship with the billet quality control and the hot sending process control and the cooling control after rolling.

通过实验研究表明：(1) 235×265mm矩形连铸坯分别采用4.04和5.08的小压缩比热连轧生产工艺，所生产的Φ140mm和Φ125mm的大规格棒材，其低倍组织和机械性能均符合标准要求，该工艺是可行的；(2)本实验所采取的低温低速、大辊径大道次压下量轧制工艺加上轧辊孔型的优化设计与配置，可以使加工变形渗透到铸坯的中心，这一点是实现小压缩比热连轧生产工艺的关键；(3)西宁特钢在红送过程中虽然铸坯余热未能得到充分的利用，但是有效地避开了A1N、硫化物的析出及夹杂物偏析的敏感温度区，为保证最终轧材良好的表面质量创造了有利的条件；(4)小压缩比热连轧生产与铸坯质量控制，热送过程控制以及轧后冷却控制密不可分。

Applications concerned herein were: the broken through tech in control rolling and control cooling of bar and wire steel, UFC of bearing steel after rolling to control carbide distribution, UFC of hot rolling sheet steel for complex phase control, reforming of hot rolling sheet steel mill performing UFC and the establishment of new cooling system of heavy and medium plate mill strengthened with UFC.

这些应用包括棒线材控轧控冷技术突破和应用、轴承钢的轧后超快速冷却控制碳化物分布、利用超快速冷却技术进行热轧带钢组织复相化控制，以及热轧带钢轧机实施超快速冷却装置的改造和中厚板轧机实施超快速压力喷射式冷却+ACC的新式冷却系统的建立。

Then the self-learn algorithm of deviation of gap zero is adopted for overcome the influence of the small variation caused by roll wear, roll expansion and mechanical clearance on gauge calculation.

根据中厚板的轧制特点，建立了比较完善的轧件出口厚度的软测量方法，它考虑了辊系弹性变形的影响，并引入辊缝零点漂移自学习算法，修正了轧辊磨损、热膨胀和机械间隙变化带来的影响，使轧件出口厚度的软测量模型更加完善。

In order to roll round billets with accurate roughing shapes by a three-high roughing mill and stabilize production, a flexible pass design method was used to optimize the traditional conjugate pass through the distortion design of the bottom, side wall and pressure difference of the pass, realizing the application of the conjugate round pass on the three-roll mill.

为轧制料形尺寸准确的圆料、稳定生产，采用变通孔型设计方法对共轭孔型进行优化设计，通过对共轭孔型槽底、侧壁、压力差的变形设计，实现了共轭圆孔型在三辊粗轧机上的应用，轧槽咬钢顺利，成品圆料容易控制，完全满足后续工序的要求，同时减小了轧线的轧制事故，单套轧辊的轧制量可提高60%以上，取得了良好的经济效益。
