Image analysis based on coarse aggregate shape and morphology assessment has been of recent research efforts to successfully indices to results from manual testing methods as well 3 as to pavement response and performance. The objective of this study is to to observes the moves of coarse aggregate of stone mastic asphalt and dense asphalt concrete by using image analysis technique.To establish the model of coarse aggregate moving behavior and asphalt pavement rutting.

本研究计画由载重过程，以影像处理分析技术观察SMA 级配及密级配粗粒料移动轨迹变化，以定量描述SMA 级配粗粒料构架形成机制、抗车辙能力成因、粗粒料材料形状组合因子偏差等影响，建立粗粒料移动轨迹与车辙量之行为模式，深入了解SMA 材料载重行为，俾供应用於公路及机场铺面能完全发挥其特性。

The order contact of skeleton is similar to that of common traffic and is suitable to be kept between 1.07 and 1.15. When adopting dynamic stability index to evaluate the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture, it is likely to stretch the work of modified asphalt and there is a discrepancy between the capacity to evaluate different gradation designs and the practical facts. In the late process of creep, stiffness module index can evaluate the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture which is relatively objective. The rutting prediction model based on this is relatively reliable.

采用车辙动稳定度指标评价沥青混合料高温性能时，可能夸大了改性沥青的作用，其对不同级配优劣的鉴别能力与实践事实间也存在一定的差异，而蠕变劲度模量指标能够较为客观地评价沥青混合料的高温稳定性能，且在此基础上建立的车辙预估模型经实践检验具有较高的可靠性。

In this paper,the affecting factors on thermal stability and rut resistance property of asphalt mixtures are discussed.Based on the wheel rutting test for different type asphalt mixtures at high temperature,gray correlation degree between each factor and dynamic stability and total plastic deformation was analyzed respectively.
