Results: The atherosclerotic model was successfully established in rabbits. T1 WI, T2 WI and PDWI sequences scanning showed thickening of aortal wall and the plaque showed equal, high or low signal intensities, which was in good accordance with the pathological examination results. The atherosclerotic plaques were successfully detected and analyzed by MR and MR had higher accuracy than ultrasound examination.

结果：成功建立兔动脉粥样硬化模型；MR图像T1、WI、T2、WI、PDWI表现为兔动脉管壁增厚，斑块呈等信号、高信号或低信号，与病理切片检测结果符合率较高；MR成功检测斑块并分析其成分；与超声比较，MR具有较高的准确性。

Methods:Paticipants consisted of 32 simple VSD patients and 27 simple PDA patients excluded of any other diseases by physical examintation and electrocardiogram and x-ray. Patients were suggested echocardiography before and one week after the surgerys.
