MATERIALS AND METHODS: One hundred patients with lower urinary tract symptoms were instructed to keep a 3-day voiding diary. Patients were instructed to record the time and volume of their water intake, voided urine volume, and number and time of sensation of urgency and episodes of urge incontinence. Patients were diagnosed according to their clinical findings as having a normal bladder, hypersensitive bladder, overactive bladder, polydipsia polyuria, or nocturnal polyuria. Thirty-six patients underwent a urodynamic study to further assess their lower urinary tract dysfunction, for which urodynamic results were classified as a normal bladder, detrusor overactivity, or bladder hypersensitivity.

The structural and photocatalytic properties of TiO〓 as well as surface acidity were greatly improved by sulfation. SO〓〓/TiO〓 solid superacid with Hammett constant Ho less than -12.14 was prepared by treating the TiO〓 with 1.0mol. L〓 sulfuric acid solution and then calcining at 450℃ for 3h. When compared to unmodified TiO〓, the SO〓〓/TiO〓 superacid catalyst exhibited higher anatase content, smaller crystal size, higher specific surface area, centralized pore size distribution, and the blue-shifted band edge of uv-vis adsorption spectra. Furthermore, the SO〓〓/TiO〓 superacid also showed excellent reaction activity and stability for CH〓Br photocatalytic decomposition even under the moist reaction conditions. The apparent quantum efficiency of SO〓〓/TiO〓 was 10 times of that of TiO〓 catalyst for the photocatalytic degradation of bromomethane. Therefore, the SO〓〓/TiO〓 superacid catalyst is promising for practical application in environmental remediation.It was found that both L and B acid sites exist on SO〓〓/TiO〓 photocatalyst while only L acid sites on TiO〓 photocatalyst. On the basis of experimental results, the synergistic model of superacidic centers was proposed for SO〓〓/TiO〓 photocatalyst to explain the photocatalytic behavior and the mechanism of superacidifing effects, assuming that the adjacent L and B acid sites induced by SO〓〓 comprise cooperatively the superacidic center on superacid photocatalyst. The group cooperation of the superacidic center could strengthen the surface acidity, increase surface acid sites and the adsorbtion of O〓, promote separation of photogenerated electron-hole pair, enhance the interfacial transfer of charges and reversibility of water adsorption. Consequently the excellent photocatalytic activity, reaction stability and resistibility to humidity of SO〓〓/TiO〓 superacid photocatalyst may attributed to the group cooperated effect of the superacidic center on the photocatalyst.

The purpose of this study was to examine the difference between using bladder scan and catheterization on 87 rehabilitation patients to evaluation the amount of residual urine. After voiding, each subject was scanned with a BladderScan BVI 3000, then catheterized for postvoid residual urine volume. Repeat measure ANOVA analysis showed that the factors of gender, diagnosis, posture, the thickness of abdominal fat, bladder shape, the amount of urine, and the interval of operation time have no difference in this study. It takes 45 ± 18 seconds (range: 17-119) to accomplish a bladder scan, and it takes 280 ±106 seconds (range: 136-664) for nursing staff to complete a catheterization for patient. However, the catheterization process takes nursing staff 3-8 times longer then operating a bladder scan. This would diminish unnecessary catheterization and save on medical staff resources.

The numerical work gives out lot of results of different aberrations. The effects of the fundamental waves aberrations, which will change the conversion efficiency, distribution of intensity and phase in the frequency conversion, is analyzed. It shows that when walk-off and diffraction effects could be ignored approximately estimation of the phase distribution of second-harmonic wave could be done. The far field divergent angle and second moment radius of harmonic wave will vary with the aberration of fundamental wave, but the far field divergent angle will be obviously smaller than that of fundamental wave. The phase distribution of both fundamental and harmonic wave is measured using Hartmann-Shack wave front sensor in the experiment with 1064nm and 790nm lasers, respectively. Results are given.
