主要结论如下：(1)在形态与生长反应方面，观察发现甘草地下和地上两部分都具有适应干早环境的特征，地下有庞大的根和根茎系统，吸水能力很强，地上茎叶形态表现出很强的节水能力，并且甘草群体抗旱优势很强；同时也观测到干旱对甘草地上茎叶生长抑制较为明显，但在一定程度上对地下根系生长起到了促进作用，导致根冠比增大、根皮颜色变红，即在产量和质量方面都有了很大地提高。
