本文一开始先对空间渐开线齿轮之齿冠圆范围使用齿轮干涉条件与Phillips提出的Wildhabor Cone进行设定，再利用Litvin提出的齿面接触分析方法，得到空间渐开线齿轮对在啮合过程中作用角与滑动轨迹之间的关系，藉由此关系可以建立一套设计流程来调整齿面宽以及齿数等参数，使其能符合设计需求。
