At the first session of bookish assembly hosted by Secretary General Huang Chin-ying on Jan. 15, Ms. Ou Hung-lan reported on the The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals authored by Michael Pollan, a columnist of The New York Times.

1月15日读书会在黄晋英秘书长的主持下，第一场由欧虹兰小姐报告《到底要吃什麼：速食、有机与自然野生植物的真相》，作者为纽约时报专栏作家Michael Pollan。

At the bookish assembly hosted by Secretary General Huang Chin-ying on September 6, Mr. Lin De-en presented the first report on the Blame It on the Rain: How the Weather has Changed History, introducing 55 examples on how weather has largely changed the human society and history. For example, the French Revolution was a result of famine, the failure of Napoleon's invasion of Russia, and the secrets of Stradivarius' violins and cellos.

9月6日读书会在黄晋英秘书长主持下，第一场由林得恩先生报告《天气改变了历史》，本书集结了55则因天气而大大地影响人类社会、历史的例子，例如：造成法国大革命的饥荒、拿破仑侵俄的失败、史特拉第瓦里提琴的秘密等。

At the bookish assembly hosted by Secretary General Huang Chin-ying on March 18, Miss Wang Ting-ting presented the first report on GM Products─Development, Disputes, Management and Regulations. It was published by the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine, Council of Agriculture, for enriching the public's knowledge in genetically modified products in order to change terminal product consumers into technology decision makers.

3月18日的读书会在黄晋英秘书长主持下，第一场由王婷婷小姐报告《基因改造产品－发展、争议、管理与规范》，本书为行政院农委会动植物防疫检疫局出版之刊物，旨在增进民众对基因改造产品的认知，方能从末端产品的消费者转变为科技决策的参与者。

At the bookish assembly hosted by Secretary General Huang Chin-ying on November 29, Mr. Luo Yang-ching presented the first report on the Gastroenterological Consultation Room . The book systematically introduced common gastrointestinal disorders in Taiwan, such as the gastroesophageal reflux disease 〈GERD〉, peptic ulcer and gastrointestinal polypus, advised readers to pay attention to bad dietary habits, and recommended some basic self-examination methods.

11月29日读书会在黄晋英秘书长主持下，第一场由罗阳青先生报告《胃肠科诊疗室》，本书系统性地介绍国人常见的胃肠疾病，例如：逆流性食道炎、消化溃疡、消化道之息肉等症状，并点出读者应注意的不良饮食习惯，以及基础的自我检视方式。

Though some study circles are like bubbles, there are also a lot of study circles that have existed more than 10 years, have more than 50 members (some more than 200 members), and continue to be more stable and reputable.

国内虽有读书会暴起暴落，然而成立超过十年，成员超过五十人者，也大有所在。

The conveners of the study circles should improve their leadership and knowledge to lead the organization to walk into the new age.

五、召集人应加强领导管理智能及人文素养，有如领航人，带领读书会迈向新世代。

Transformational leadership and servant leadership are more appropriate style for study circles' conveners.

六、转换型领导、服务型领导是较适於读书会召集人运用的领导类型。

At the bookish assembly hosted by Secretary General Huang Chin-ying on August 14, Mr. Chang Huei-cheng presented the first report on the Lushan Mountain , introducing the present status of Lushan Mountain in northern Jiangxi Province, China, legends and historical events based on the Lushan Mountain in a tone that highbrows and lowbrows alike could enjoy, and from a local point of view.

8月14日读书会在黄晋英秘书长主持下，第一篇由张辉诚先生报告《庐山》，本书以雅俗共赏的笔法、在地观点，简介中国江西省北部的庐山现况与以庐山为背景所发生的传说及历史事件，兼具文化意涵以及旅游指南的功能。
