This essay, through a critical analysis of the women's images in Robert Browning's well-known dramatic monologue,"My Last Duchess", attempts to prove that the two women's images in this poem are in fact an embodiment of two archetypes of women, which were handed down from an early literary tradition, misogyny and Mariolatry.

The former is that Huan-tan and Wang-chong attache great importance to the aesthetic thinking of the real, the emotional ,the freedom and the creation, the later is that the Yue-Fu ,the Wen-Ren-Shi,"19 Ancient Poems have gentle lyric and Jian-An poets chant in a heroic but mournful tone.

第三章，则对东汉四个时期君权与外戚、宦官此消彼长权力制衡关系的考察，揭示出君权的乱为对士人认同的压制与扭曲，在极度的政荒朝乱最终导致党人奋起抗争的同时，也使士人的诗性追求在审美理论与文学创作领域得到充分体现：前者表现为桓谭、王充非常重视真实、感性、自由与创造的美学思想，后者表现为乐府文人诗、《古诗十九首》的温婉抒情和建安诗人的慷慨悲歌。
