Bast fibers of Edgeworthia papyrifera purchased from mainland China and the Taimali research station of TFRI were pulped with the soda process, the alkali sulfite process, and sodium carbonate liquor, respectively. The yield, the kappa number, and the defiberating ratio under various alkali charges and alkali concentrations were evaluated.

本试验以自大陆进口之三桠树皮及林业试验所太麻里分所栽植之三桠树皮进行制浆试验，制浆之方法有苏打法、碱性亚硫酸钠法及以碳酸钠为蒸煮药品等三种，并由用碱量及药液浓度之变化来探讨三桠树皮之收率、卡巴值及解纤率。

The beans were dehydrated at 30, 32 and 35℃ and it showed that 32℃ was the suitable drying temperature. At 32℃, three kinds of beans with 5, 8 and 11 mm widths respectively were dried to make the moisture content reach the security level, and were rehydrated as comparative experiments.

试验选用30、32、35℃ 3种不同干燥温度对油豆角进行脱水，确定出适宜的干燥温度为32℃；在干燥温度为32℃条件下，又对3种宽度分别为5、8、11mm的油豆角进行干燥试验，使其水分降到安全水以下，并进行复水性比较试验。

The results show sheafing strength of wood glued-product produced by adhesive prepared with the optimal formulation of six starch-based API wood adhesive can completely meet requirement of JIS K6806 and each property indices of adhesive satisfy demand for the practical process technology.
