A representative RC frame of the main building of Tsinghua University is analyzed by FIPOA-3D, the structure capacity curve with descending branch is obtained, the seismic requirement curve is derived from current code. Capacity spectral method is utilized to evaluate the seismic resistant behavior of the frame.

用FIPOA-3D计算了清华大学主楼一榀典型的RC框架，得到有下降段的结构能力曲线，由现行规范的反应谱曲线得到结构的地震要求曲线，并用能力谱法对这榀框架的抗震能力进行了评估。

Based on the good essential boundary condition processing capability of radial point interpolation meshless method, as well as the better computing efficiency of Element-free Galerkin method, the mixed method coupling EFG and RPIM is used to deal with the essential boundary condition.
