The calculation of controlling unstable equilibrium point of a post fault power system is transformed to nonlinear least squares issue. The Jacobi matrix, Hessian matrix and the residue formula are derived. It is found that the residue is changed in the calculating process, so it is appropriate to use the switch method to solve the problem.

将计算电力系统故障后的主导不稳定平衡点的问题转化为最小二乘问题，推导了计算所需要的雅可比矩阵、海山阵以及计算过程的残量公式，发现残量随著计算过程而变化，因此该问题适合于采用开关算法。
