After 1-month treatment, his best corrected visual acuity improved from 0.05 initially to 1.2, and the corneal thickness was not different between eyes. Nevertheless, at the injured sites, cornea was apparently thicker and corneal endothelial densities were lower than those in the fellow eye. This cornea might decompensate after any other ocular trauma or intraocular surgery.

经过一个月的治疗后，视力、眼压、中央角膜厚度、角膜上皮、前房、视网膜等皆恢復正常，但角膜內皮细胞密度明显减少，受伤部位的角膜亦明显较厚，日后恐有角膜失偿的危险，而这种情况无法藉测量中央角膜厚度显示出来。

Methods Advanced generation silicone IOL was implanted with injector in group A (102 eyes) and the PMMA IOL, implanted in group B (108 eyes) as the control. The changes of visual acuity, corneal astigmatism, anterior chamber flare, corneal edema, location of IOL, pos terior capsular opaqueness and other operation complications were observed.

Wavefront aberrations of the cornea were assessed preoperatively and 1 to 2 months postoperatively using a corneal topographer (Optikon-2000SpA) and a picture processor (Keratron-Scout).

Results: Of the slight keratoconus group: the above indexes significantly decreased(P＜0.05). Of the moderate group: the above indexes, except for the apex decentration distance significantly decreased at 12 months and more evidently at 18 months. Of the severe group, the K value significantly decreased at 12 months and other figures remained unchanged. However, all the indexes significantly decreased except that the apex decentration distance remained unchanged at 18 months.

结果：轻度组，配戴RGPCL后角膜散光、锥顶K值、锥顶偏心距离、SRI、SAI较配戴前均有显著性降低（P＜0.05）；中度组，除12个月时锥顶偏心距离、角膜散光值较配戴前无显著变化外，其他各项参数亦有明显降低，18个月时下降更为明显；重度组，12个月时除锥顶K值显著减小外，其他参数变化不大，18个月时除锥顶偏心距离的变化不显著外，其他参数显著降低。

Our investigation demonstrates that before refractive surgery the keratometer has a similar clinical value as that of corneal topography, and the △ Sim K value is related to the graphic pattern of corneal topography.

Methods A total of 86 eyes of successful rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with a higher encircling scleral buckle underwent A-scan and keratometer examination before surgery as well as l week,4 and 12 weeks after surgery.The refractive factors included the depth of anterior chamber,thickness of lens,axial length of eye,corneal curvature and refraction of eye were detected pre- and post-operatively.

Methods: A total of 366 eyes with keratoconus were subjected to wear proper RGPCL. Keratometer and corneal topography were used to determine the central cornea astigmatism, apex K value, apex decenteation distance, SRI and SAI before, 12 and 18 months after wearing RGPCL.

METHODS: From January 2001 to October 2002, 21 high myopia patients (39 eyes) with borderline corneal thickness were treated with LASIK. Visual acuity, keratometry readings and central corneal thickness were measured at 3 years after surgery. These data were compared with preoperative and early postoperative results.

In an attempt to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Healon in trabeculectomy, 20 eyes with Healon and 20 eyes without Healon injection after trabeculectomy are compared. Trabeculectomy using Healon will not induce transient rise of intraocular pressure. By filling the anterior chamber with Healon, a tamponing effect results which will maintain a deep chamber and reduce complications such as flat anterior chamber, choroidal detachment and striate keratopathy in the early postoperative period. 为了评估Healen在小梁切除术中之疗效及安全性，选20位接受小梁切除术者，同时注射Healon於前房为实验对象，另20位接受传统小梁切除术为对照组，发现使用Healon并不会引起一过性眼压上升的现象，Healon注入前房，产生填塞作用，最大的好处是可以维持前房深度，减少术后合并症如前房消失，脉络膜剥离及角膜水肿等，然长期追踪，对於降眼压的幅度，不因使用Healon而可达到低眼压状态，也不会减少结合膜瘢痕化而促进房水引流，然Healon系一无毒，无炎性，无抗原性高黏稠性的物质，不因使用而发生炎性反应，同时有保护角膜内层细胞的功能。
