The system has some advanced functions such as searching multiform NWF product,the change of west wind index on 500 hPa,the physical feature table of every station,the error and comparison of forecast capability of NWF,searching fax picture,and showing 3D picture,etc.Some better and applied NWF product application information has been supplied for forecaster.

该系统具有检索国内外各类数值预报形势场及物理量场、500 hPa西风环流指数演变、单站高低层物理量表、数值产品误差和预报能力比较、调阅各类传真图、多维图形显示等功能，为预报员在分析制作预报中提供了更多更实用的数值预报产品释用信息。

Results show the wind shifted from easterly at 8am to south-southwesterly and the wind speed reached maximum values at 1pm. From then on, the wind speed decreased and shifted to easterly wind.

结果发现高雄市区夏季之海陆风约从8时起，风向由偏东风迅速转变为南南西风，至13时达极大，再逐渐递减。

Corresponding to the long-lasting El Nio event, cyclonic anomalous circulation over the eastern North Pacific weakens slowly and anticyclonic anomalous circulation over the western North Pacific strengthens slowly at 850 hPa. Therefore the tropical Pacific westerly anomaly keeps long. The anomalous positive velocity potential over the western South Pacific at 200 hPa, which is related to the strong Australian winter monsoon, helps a long duration of El Nio. Corresponding to the short-lasting El Nio, the anomalous positive velocity potential over the western Pacific at 200 hPa moves eastward quickly and results in the vanishing of El Nio event.

还发现对于持续时间较长的El Nio事件，东北太平洋上850hPa异常气旋性环流减弱和西北太平洋上异常反气旋性环流增强较慢，因此赤道太平洋异常西风维持的时间也较长，而与澳大利亚冬季风加强相关联的南半球西太平洋的速度势正距平的维持，对El Nio的持续也起一定作用；对应持续时间较短的El Nio事件，西太平洋上200hPa速度势正距平的迅速东移，对El Nio的迅速消亡起重要作用。

西太平洋副高、南亚高压、低纬系统、高空急流、低空大风速轴；西风槽和高原槽、低涡、冷锋、青海湖锢囚锋以及中尺度低压、青海热低压、切变线与辐合线、中尺度云团等系统是高原东北部地区大到暴雨的主要相关系统。100hPa上的南亚高压中心强度加强，位置东西摆动预示高原地区将有降水产生，中心强度减弱，降水过程结束。

While not shown in CIRA-86, there is a clear easterly band extending from the equator to high latitudes at the altitude of lower thermosphere in autumn.

在冬季，东亚区域中间层西风急流中心位于25°N-35°N之间的75km高度，与CIRA-86相比，该中心纬度偏南5°，高度偏高10km；在秋季，东亚区域低热层高度存在一个显著的从赤道到高纬度的东风带，而CIRA-86不存在。

In the region, the winter mesospheric westerly jet lies at 75km altitude and in between 25°-35°N, which is 10km higher and 5°farther south in latitude that of the CIRA-86. While not shown in CTRA-86, there is a clear easterly band extending from the equator to high latitudes at the altitude of lower thermosphere in autumn.
