It was an opportunity for immersion in Catalan language, culture and art. Catalonia is one of 17 autonomous regions in Spain, but the language is spoken by about 10 million people on the Mediterranean and dominates the Costa Brava.

此作品延续版图系列作品的创作观点，以台湾地图的造形为蝴蝶的翅膀，以飞机机身、飞弹、子弹、船舰…为蝴蝶身体，组合成有如蝴蝶图鉴般的形式，突显台湾现实环境下所处的国际情势；台湾早期有蝴蝶王国之称，西班牙人称台湾为福尔摩莎，意思为美丽的地方，输出蝴蝶标本是台湾早期国际贸易赚取外汇的手段，犹如将美好的事物贩售出去，让人有种不舍又无奈的感受。
