Leo Strauss is one of the most renowned names of the western philosophical world nowadays. Since 1980th, the political philosophy established by Strauss which animadverts thoroughly on western modernity and liberal tradition exactly integrates into the downhill of ideological liberalism and the outbreak of new conservatism in US. As a result, it has been accepted as the official philosophy of Washington, especially as the state-administrative principle for senior Republican officers in US.
