为了解湖北省二级医院《医院感染管理规范》的落实情况，作者对1996年通过省卫生厅医院分级管理组织评审的46所二级医院感染管理的评审资料进行了分析，总结了这些医院在组织落实、开展必要的监测和严格管理措施三个关键环节上取得的成绩，指出了现实存在的7个问题，提出了进一步提高认识、增加投入、严格执行部颁规范和强化卫生行政部门职能等建议。
