American Pop was born in the 1960s, with the emergence of international masters like Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist and Roy Lichtenstein. Andy Warhol has had a tremendous influence on the development of Chinese art. Performance art emerged in the 1970s as well as Nam June Paik's video art and Christo and Jeanne-Claude's installation art. Sigmar Polke and Gerhard Richter were among the leaders of the Post Modern movement, which also flourished in the 1970s. Among them, Richter has had the most significant impact on Chinese art. New Expressionism emerged in the United States during the 1980s with artists such as Keith Haring, installation artist Ann Hamilton, and Cindy Sherman whose work is somewhat derived from New Expressionism.

进入50年代又出现了格林伯格画派、形式主义绘画，以及具象复活等等。50年代后期出现了新现实主义画派，以及为心灵而创作的博伊斯。60年代美国波普艺术诞生，出现了安迪·沃霍、罗森奎斯特、利希滕斯坦这样的世界级大师人物，其中安迪·沃霍对中国的影响最大。70年代出现身体艺术、行为艺术、白南准的电子艺术、克里斯托和珍妮—克劳德的包裹艺术，以及以波尔克、里希特、巴尔德萨利的后现代主义，其中里希特在中国影响巨大。80年代出现了美国新表现主义如基斯·哈林，装置如汉密尔顿，以及辛迪·舍曼的挪用。

Liu Jin is one of the young and active artists now. His latest art experiments are all used his body as medium. His opuses aspire after feelings of releasing for using his body with pleasant sensation of being presence in the foreland of art experiments. Although his opuses contain some behavior art, I slide over to say that his art exploration is only the behavior art, it doesn't mean that behavior art is the wicked way for artists to get high reputation and flubdub, also it doesn't mean that the actual behavior art is target of public criticism in the government art criticism circles, we can say that because of many people just pay their attention to the Chinese meaning of "behavior". For this reason, it is similar to the performing art.

刘瑾是目前较活跃的年轻艺术家之一，他最近的艺术实验均以自己的身体为媒介，他的作品追求身体在执行作品的过程中的释放感和在场于艺术实验前沿的亢奋，尽管他的作品包含了许多的行为艺术因素，但我还是回避了以行为艺术来简单化的指称他的艺术探索，这既非是行为艺术在某些人眼里已成为哗众取宠，沽名钓誉的恶俗行径，也不是因为目前行为艺术在官方的艺术批评界已成为众矢之的，而是因为行为艺术这一名词本身在中文语境中过于看中行为本身，在这一点上，又同表演艺术相差不远。

Several Asian countries already had performance art but only put on short performances and infrequently. They did not know that today performance art was so important as an art medium.

虽然部份亚洲国家已经开始发展行为艺术，但表演活动很少，而且并非定期举行，他们并不知道，行为艺术已经发展成为现今社会一个重要的艺术媒界。

At the art proseminar in the afternoon of June 12th, Shimoda Seiji screened the video records of his performance in many other countries at first, it made us relized performance art in different countries resent years. Then we discussed the topics about performance art together.
