The carboxyhemoglobin levels of in-flowing pulmonary blood and out-going pulmonary blood were determined at 2,4 and 6 hours after treatments. Malondialdehyde contents and superoxide dismutase activities in the lung,liver and blood were also determined. Pathological changes in lung and liver were examined with light microscope,and immunohistochemical technique was used for analysis of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) protein expression and distribution in lung and liver.

各组分别在制模后2、4和6 h测定出入肺血中碳氧血红蛋白水平；肺、肝组织及血液中丙二醛含量及超氧化物歧化酶活性；光镜下观察肺、肝组织形态学改变；免疫组化分析血红素加氧酶-1(HO-1)在肺、肝组织中的蛋白表达和分布。

By addition of suitable amount of sodium hydrosulfite into blood samples which were diluted by 0.1% Na2CO3, the absorption curve from 400 nm to 600 nm and absorbance at 419 nm and 425.5 nm of the blood samples were detected for qualitative and quantitative determination of carboxyhemoglobin.

The results showed as follow:1.The gelsemium total alkaloids of 0.15mg/kg,0.30mg/kg doses increased RBQHB, percentage of ANAE+ lymphocytes, phagocyty of peritoneal macrophage of mice.

Consuming 6% gelsemium diets, the broilers grew slower and showed toxication,RBC,HB,TP,ALB,immune organ indexes percentage of ANAE+ lymphocytes. Percentage of rosette and NDVs antibody titer were reduced. The activity of LDHL,AKP,GPT were increased, but the activity of CHE decreased.In all,the results showed that the effect of GEB on blood and immune function of mice and broilers was different in doses.

The content of bilirubin in circular serum, amount of RBC and reticulocyte in circular blood,hemosiderin and hematoglobin in urine of 8 cases were detected before treatment and after copper needles retained for 1, 4, 7 days.
