The effects of QDPTP on cerebral blood flow and artery blood pressure in anesthetized rats The regional cerebral blood flow in cerebral pia mater was examined by Laser Doppler Flowmeter and the artery blood pressure (including mean systolic pressure, mean diastolic pressure and mean blood pressure) were monitored by the electrophysiological polygraph before and after drug administration.

Results: Small round or linear haemorrhagic erosions were induced in the oxyntic glandular area after rats exposed to WRS. Maxillary central incisors had a slightly greater pulpal blood flow values than maxillary lateral incisors. The flow values from 15 teeth with necrotic pulp or pulpless teeth were significantly lower than that from the control teeth. Before therapy the values from 16 deep caries teeth were all higher than that from the control teeth. After therapy, most (15/16) of those values decreased to normal in three days. The value of one tooth with deep caries remained high, and one week later, the pulp became necrosis.

Result: The size and vessel caliber of thyroidea of the two groups pre-treatment were obviously bigger than those of the control group, the volume of blood flow and blood flow rate were obviously slower than those of the control group ( P .001), the sizes of thyroidea of the two groups became smaller, especially the group B1 was more obvious, and there was no significant difference in the size of thyroidea between group B1and control group.
