Based on the insensitive principle, cohering principle and the influence of the proportion of ingredient on the safety, a new kind of insensitive explosive is developed with PETN as primary material and with wax, polyisobutylene and black lead as desensitizers and adhesives. The experiments on the sensitivity of blast wave, mechanical sensitivity and the character of burning were carried out.
