The SG showed highest FXPRLamide peptides titer in neural organs. Using an antiserum against H. armigera PBAN, PBAN-like immunoreactivity was detected in the SG and TG of Antheraea yamamai by whole-mount immunocytochemistry, and there were three clusters cells in the SG which shows positive PBAN-like immunoreactivity. The titers of FXPRLamide peptides immunoreactivity in the hemolymph kept a steady level. When pupation, the titer increased promptly, but decreased to a low level after early pupal stage.

这证明了天蚕可能存在FXPRLamide家族神经肽中的DH-PBAN基因；天蚕的咽下神经节中FXPRLamide神经肽含量最高，咽下神经节有三簇细胞合成FXPRLamide神经肽，在胸神经节和腹神经节也有明显的阳性细胞；天蚕5龄幼虫的血淋巴中FXPRLamide神经肽含量比较稳定，化蛹前含量升高，蛹期含量降低。

It infested one to two generations in one year in Changsha, and overwintered through adults. They spend 48.2 days in finishing a complete generation under the temperature of 25±1℃, and the development time of eggs, larvae, pupas and adults were 7, 10, 10 and 30 days respectively.

通过室内饲养和野外观察，研究了该虫的生物学特性：在长沙地区1年发生1~2代，以成虫越冬，幼虫在25±1℃温度条件下，完成一个世代的历期为48.2d，卵期7d，幼虫期30d，蛹期10d，成虫期30d左右。

Pallidifascia were studied by indoor and outdoor trials. The results showed that the pest developed 4 generations a year and overwintered with larvae in Guangzhou, Guangdong province of China. The larva stage included 7 instars. It appeared sexual dimorphism on the adults. The egg, larva and pupa stages lasted 4-5 days, 32-34 days and 9-11 days at 26℃ respectively.

采用室内外养虫及林间调查相结合的方法观察木荷空舟蛾的生物学特性，观察结果如下：在广州1年可发生4代，以幼虫在土中越冬，幼虫分7龄，成虫有性二型现象；在26℃时，卵期4-5天，幼虫期32-34天，蛹期9-11天。
