本研究能模拟出蛱蝶科中具有同心圆眼斑以及沿著翅膀边缘上分布之波浪花纹，另外也能模拟分布於翅膀全域较小较无规则的波浪斑纹；藉由本研究我们发现蝶翅斑纹可以分为属於背景的全域斑纹与以翅室中线为准属於区域性的眼斑花纹，而本研究皆能分别以电脑模拟出来。
